Julia & Benjamin

Details: Programs, favor packaging, labels, various signage, personalized gifts, menus, escort cards, custom photo booth design

Location: New York and Tokyo

Project Notes: We worked closely with Julia and Benjamin (and their mom) to create a multifaceted package for not one but two B'nai Mitzvah celebrations: New York and Japan.

Our job was two-fold: create a fun set of gifts and personalized signage for the kids area and and a sophisticated set of coordinating paper goods for the adults portion of the reception.

We selected fabric and made customized labels for floor pillows that the kids sat on for dinner, tying in the traditional tatami style seating. All the kids were given a backpack which held an assortment of custom-branded favors. Each backpack was then airbrushed with their names. Guests were invited to visit an elaborate candy bar and fill up goodies in custom created candy bags.

On-site was a traditional Japanese-style photo booth that we covered in custom signage and photos of the twins collected over the years.  For the synagogue portion, we created programs to follow along with the details of the B'nai Mitzvah. Escort cards, menus and stickers along with custom made packaging for bento boxes were designed to reflect their time growing up in Japan.
