April 27, 2010 centerpiece idea: stamped books
Last weekend we did an event using a vintage set of encyclopedias as the centerpieces. Their dinner was held in the Library of the Harold Pratt House and the books became a great motif that spurred by the couple's love of reading.
So what's a girl to do when wanting to use stacks of books in a new and different application? How about giving these stamped-variations a try. Paired with cool designs and colorful jackets, you have an instant chic and simple centerpiece for any event.

What a clever idea! I've been searching for a unique centerpiece for a graduation party I'm hosting in June for a dear friend who returned to college and finished her degree after raising 5 sons and working full time! I love your idea and would enjoy seeing photos of your event, will you post some soon? Thanks so much! (LOVE your site btw!)
