new crafting supplies

I took a few hours Friday and made the pilgrimage up to the new Michael's Art + Crafts on 98th and Columbus with fantastic results. I was on the lookout for some tools to help make the projects we work on everyday a little easier to do.

Luckily I walked out with these gems:

(Top left and bottom right) The photo corner craft Punch by Martha Stewart. This amazing tool lets you make photo corners using absolutely any paper. Just think about the possibilities!!!

(Top right and bottom left) I also snapped up the Curvery Cutter by CuttleBug EK Success. Which cuts perfect circles from 2.25" - 7.5" with amazing precision. I'm planning on using it for decorations and for making beautiful circular menus for my clients.

Kimberly,

Was this the first circular cutter you've used? I ask because I tried a similar product from Fiskars and was less than thrilled with the results. I'm so glad you posted about this item, i was wondering where I could get something similar

Hi Lisa - I just sent you this info in an email.

For the rest of you, here's some more information as to the other circle cutters I've used...

First is the one from Martha Stewart Crafts which is amazing - it's accurate and works fantastically. But it only cuts circles up to 5.5"

I also have a Fiskers model that does large cuts (up to 8") but there's no accuracy involved and it's a little harder to figure out how to use. I found a great tutorial online that shows the in's and out's of it.

Hi! I just wanted to clarify that the Curvy Cutter is made by EK Success, not Cuttlebug like you have posted. :)
