real wedding: sarah & kyle, part 1

I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah and Kyle back in January at the Indie Wed Chicago show. We talked a little while at the show and spent a few weeks talking about their wedding plans. From the get-go, I knew this wedding was going to be an absolute blast!

from l to r: guests seated for dinner / the couple's 2-year old, Lucy looking so adorable and holding a banner made by Sarah for the ceremony / the happy couple affter saying their "i do's"

Even though it didn't end up being an event we were able to work on, Sarah and I continued to correspond for the next few months. She's an aspring Event Designer and Kyle is a Photographer. I have no doubt that after you see their wedding photos, that you'll want to get in touch with this creative duo at once!

from l to r: a lineup of the vintage plates collected for dinner / their marriage contract signed by each guest / adorable details: photo booth, carnival banner (I love this!!) / vintage tins and containers acted as vessels for the floral arrangements

The couple spent nearly a full year collecting many of the vintage pieces to be used as props and table settings for the big day, including plates for each guest to eat off of and so many beautiful tea tins and vintage bottles for floral arrangements.

from l to r: This gift table setup at top left was super adorable / polka dot nails on Sarah and barber pole paper straws were a key fun feature at the bar!

from l to r: the girls all lined up in their festive attire! / a nod to their home state of Missouri / these paper rosettes made appearances throughout the day's decorations

When we met up a few months ago in NYC, Sarah showed me the fabric for the girls' dresses. Don't you absolutely love how they turned out? What a beautiful and fun palette!
