sneak peek: Indie Wed, Part 2

Thanks to my amazingly helpful husband, I was able to get one of the biggest projects for Indie Wed well underway yesterday.

I've spent a lot of time working on ways to really bring another level of dimension to the booth, and found a great (and inexpensive) solution with the help of kraft paper, pencils and white chalk...

I nabbed an overhead projector on Etsy, designed the layouts on my computer and had the designs made into transparencies at a local copy shop. The walls in the booth are each 8' x 8', which is quite a large space to cover. By using kraft paper, the look compliments my design plan and remained a very inexpensive solution of how to transform the space without breaking my budget.

One of the walls will feature the IG logo and the other shows a scene from a glamorous interior.

Looking to see more of our booth come together? Check out some of the paper goods we created especially for the show and the inspiration board.

And Remember Indie Wed is on January 30th, so get your tickets soon!!

Your work is beautiful! I stumbled across your blog as it was referenced in another and am glad to be familiar with it. As a do-it-yourself designer, I love to see the work others are doing. Inspiring indeed.

This is a phenomenal idea! I was just looking for new ideas for a dessert table backdrop. Thank you for the inspiration.

SUCH a brilliant idea! I'm completely bowled over. How much would I love to see someone use an idea like this for a wedding! Adore this ever so much! Thanks for sharing!!!
