Got to check out my favorite magazine's yearly wedding-industry event yesterday at the Met Pavillion and saw some fabulous stuff. I was especially delighted to see new work from Cheree Berry (a ton of custom beautiful invites) and great pieces by Mr. Boddington's studio - always clever ideas and amazing old-fashioned typography.
The event was quite crowded and a little hard to move around (enormous tote bags were to blame) but bride's-to-be were there in full-force and with the rain, it was still a great turnout.
I had fun catching up with my favorite wedding photographer, Brian Dorsey (finally got to meet his darling assistant Kim, whom I felt like I've known if only through a year's worth of emails). Also got to chat with Barb from Hatch Creative Studio (my inspiration for all things creative).
There were so many wonderful things to see, but by far, my favorites were the wedding dresses on display by Temperley London. They totally remind me of the romantic and vintage feel of Claire Pettibone and Elizabeth Fillamore but have much more of a modern and wearable twist.
