Pier of all Trades

Sometimes there's no getting around the fact that when it comes time to find something that accurately conveys what you are in search of, the best place to start is by finding a true crafts-person to assist you in making your ideas come to life.

Today, we discovered Pier Gustafson, a calligrapher and illustrator of the most extraordinary kind. Pier, who is located in Boston has done the entire gamut of wedding themes. His amazing array of monograms, beautiful hand-drawn maps and impressive invitations speak of the fun and highly-personalized approach he can bring to your event.

I especially loved this set of table numbers that he penned for a wedding where the couple included a fun set of facts about the location shown on the front -- each guest was given a different card and spent the evening  getting a complete history of the couple. (second to last row)

Also not to miss is this fun Bar Mitzvah sign-in board made to look like headlines from a newspaper. (bottom right) Or check out this impressive collection of fun faux postage stamps he's designed — a wonderful idea for a return address!

An unparalleled artist, please take some much deserved time and visit Pier's website - these images I've shown only scratch the tip of the iceberg!
